Wow! It is just crazy that Christian is 12 today, I know I say that every time but it is just not right that my kids are getting older and I still feel like I am 25. Brenna is an adult 18, Alysha is 16 and now Christian whaaaaa! Ryan my baby is going to be 10 in June.
We are having a party for Christian at the Sports Academy where they have this really fun tumbling room with giant trampolines etc. He has invited 7 girls and 5 boys, I know what a ladies man. It should be so much fun and he is very excited.
Plus it is a very exciting day for Alysha since it is her first big prom date. They are going on a group day date then all the girls are going to Kori's house to get ready and then the boys are making the girls dinner. She is a little nervous, I know that they will have such a great time. Alysha really has some amazing friends.
I have to go and get ready for my day now.
Haven't started packing yet :( and don't really want to.

John home
John comes home from Dallas today, he has been going there alot lately and it has been hard. I know I get frustrated and not too thrilled that he has to go but I like it when he is home. I am grateful for his job he works for a good company and the pay is awesome. I am grateful :)
I have just been doing laundry, cleaning the house and I just finished making Shepard's pie, I haven't made it in a long time and it really is not my favorite but since I will not be eating it I will try it out on everyone else lol
Got a little freaked out today about our house purchase, I actually had a night mare about it last night that someone was killed in the house and it has issues with flooding....aaahhhh I know how creepy. I do not know what the heck that means but I feel uneasy and stressed.
It's Christian's 12th birthday on Saturday and he is having a party at Sports Academy in their tumbling and trampoline area. He is so excited and has invited 12 friends should be alot of fun. He is just so handsome and all the girls just love him.
Alysha will be going to her first prom dance on Saturday and is of coarse so excited she wanted to go so bad and it was very exciting when she was asked. Shane and his friends made a snowman and put it on our porch with a note asking her to go to prom with him we loved it!! Then Alysha replied by putting a melted snowman on his porch that said I melted at the thought of going to prom with you. Um that was my idea :)
Brenna has been busy with work, Latter Day Voices, institute and babysitting. She applied for a summer job as a camp counsellor and she really wants to do that so I hope she gets it.
I guess I should write something about Ryan, well he has been working hard trying to get his Great Utah Award. He has to memorize stuff, and complete a certain number of assignments plus run 29 miles. He had all year to do these things but of coarse we left them to the last minute.
I have started yet again another healthy eating program to get my cholesterol down, I am off of sugar, dairy, and all carbs.I am praying everyday for the strength to do this because I love food and I love to eat. I know that I am an emotional eater so sometimes I can't stop. It doesn't help that I stopped running, I need to get my butt out there. There is a half marathon I really want to do July 16th.
Life is good and we really do live in a beautiful and peaceful place :)

try try again
Ok well good morning, and looks like it is going to be a beautiful day. I decided to give this blog thing another try and hoping this time I will give it a little more effort. I am not sure who I am going to let read this for now it will just be me. When I write my grammar etc. sucks so don't be complaining whaaaa! It drives Alysha crazy when I do not punctuate my test messages, I say whatever :)
I have been feeling pretty crappy this week with migraines and cramps...not a fun combination.
I guess it is official now, we are going to stay in Smithfield UT, we just bought a house here. I have to say it was a little bit.....ok maybe more that just a little of a frustrating and emotional experience. I do feel very blessed and grateful though that we are able to do this especially when I think of all the people in Japan who have lost their homes. I am also very grateful that John has such an amazing job with HP and all the hard work that he does.
Ok so I have finally started looking for a job and let me tell you this has been one of the scariest things I have ever had to do and I am not enjoying it at all. I just feel like who the flip is going to hire someone my age with no experience. I know it is something that will make me feell more fulfilled and feel like I am contributing but I wish someone could just hand me my perfect job :)
I have also been throwing around the idea of becoming a flight attendant, I think this would be a very exciting career. I know it would take me away from my family more but there will be other benefits that will come from this type of job like traveling more as a family.
I need to go and try and figure out how I am going to get myself motivated to pack.
